Fred's Story
Fred is the head rental skeleton at the Evidence Store. The story of how Fred came to us and how he was named follows (only because so many people ask!)
I have a friend in a similar business. He is quite a character, and one day he told me about Herbie, the skeleton. He said that he adopted Herbie to assist him in understanding anatomy when he was asked to make X-ray exhibits. And, if an attorney wanted to rent Herbie for court, so much the better.
As we were starting the Evidence Store, we needed a mascot too, and we adopted Fred. Fred is a friend of mine who has a personality that makes him and Fred the Skeleton a terrific pair. People have described real Fred and his wife as "the bubbly one with the comatose husband."
