It is a challenge for a lay person to comprehend the meaning of an operative report without some sort of visual support.
The medical illustration department at The Evidence Store has years of experience in making the verbal descriptions of surgeries come alive for jurors and fact finders. We can digest a procedure down into its most basic components or provide detailed, step-by-step representations for the expert to use in court.
We work closely with the attorney and, more importantly, your medical expert to assure the accuracy of your exhibit. We can e-mail the images as we complete them, reducing turn around time and shipping expenses.
When preparing physical boards, we generally break the procedure down to six to eight steps, including only enough captions to allow for the jury to understand the corresponding medical terms used by the expert.
Great for settlement brochures and can be essential tools for digital trials as well.
As with all our exhibits, we prepare hard copies in small versions and when your case goes to trial, we make full size courtroom prints from your pre-approved art.
